When scanning a product label for the first time, we capture two images to process. These images are sent to our servers for analysis, where we use ChatGPT APIs to identify allergens and other nutritional facts. Once the analysis is complete, the images are promptly deleted from our servers.
For efficiency, after the first analysis of a product, the results are cached. Future queries regarding that product will rely on the cached data, and no new images will be collected.
We use AdMob to display advertisements in our app. To protect your privacy, we have configured AdMob to serve anonymized ads. This means that AdMob does not collect personally identifiable information, such as device identifiers, IP addresses, or location data, when delivering ads in our app. However, AdMob may still collect non-personal information to optimize the delivery of these ads.
